I’m a sucker for things well made.
I believe they make you happy and make you want to take care of them for a long time. So I find it my responsibility as a brand to pursue your happiness by focusing on quality materials and craftsmanship.
Therefore I offer this small selection of timeless designs, produced as responsible as possible.
Production
I sew everything myself in my studio in Antwerp, carefully and with attention to detail.
To avoid overstocks and sales, all items are made to order. So please allow 4 to 6 weeks for your order to be sewn.
Sustainability
Materials
My materials are sourced in Belgium or one of the surrounding countries.
I only use 100% natural textiles, mainly linen which has a very small footprint.
Everything is stitched with cotton and interlinings are sew-in cotton instead of fusible synthetics, assuring my clothes don’t need to be deconstructed to be recycled.
To make the recycling process even easier, only buttons are used, which are easier to remove than zippers.
I select my materials on their long-lasting quality.
Nevertheless slight imperfections may occur, due to the natural qualities of linen. These imperfections are inherent to printed linen and add to the character of the fabric.
Construction and finishings
Influenced by tailoring and workwear, I pay close attention to high-quality, artisanal
construction and details, ensuring that the inside looks just as good as the outside.
That’s why I flat fell all my seam to enhance comfort and longevity.
Buttons are sewn on with a zampa di gallina to show you they are sewn by hand for resilience.
And for a more luxurious finish, buttonholes and bar tacks are sewn by hand.
Packaging
My packaging is also plastic free. I hope I made the box pretty enough to reuse, but as it is basic cardboard it can easily be recycled.
